Community activities

The STARS program is a program for youth 18-28 years of age.Young people attend it two times a week.The program includes the study of Torah, the laws of Halacha, Jewish philosophy, the mitzvot Hashem (the mitzvas of Hashem), traditions and history of the Jewish people.Each month participants receive a scholarship subject to the active attendance and successful test completion of the subjects.Students enrolled in this program go to Shabatons to other cities and areas.In addition the program provides trips to Israel. At present 20 people are enrolled in this program.

The Dear Friend Women's Clublead by Rebbetzin Pnina Glinsshtain is a favorite meeting place for Jewish women.Women's Club meetings are usually devoted to a holiday or event in Jewish life.In addition a lot of interesting and useful information can be found at these meetings as to secrets of Jewish cuisine, apartments design, psychology, family relations, receive a psychologist’s advice on raising children or even get to the presentation of cosmetics and perfumes.

Big Minyan - men's club under the leadership of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Glintsshtain.Here men discuss serious philosophical questions of the Torah and Jewish tradition.It is here where sometimes problems of local and regional Jewish community development and pressing issues are solved.

Comprehension of the Torah - Rebbetzin Pnina holds these sessions for middle-aged people who are interested in the Torah.

Classes on weekly Parshah are carried out for elderly people who unfortunately discovered the world of Jewish life only in old age.
