Summer camps: culture and traditions for children
Every year more than 25 summer camps are held in Ukraine Jewish children. Meaning children these camps are the first Touch of Judaism. Many of the children decide to attend a Jewish school after such camps.
In these camps children are fully immersed in Jewish life atmosphere. Everything in the camp is creating a unique atmosphere. Qualified professional teachers and madrichim come from different countries and work tirelessly to create this atmosphere. Every child reveals a true Jewish sabbath.
Summer camps are held in ecologically safe regions of Ukraine which allows to restore and strengthen their children's health. In the camps supported by the Federation many children from disadvantaged families have joyful time. These families can hardly afford such vacation for the children, but thanks to the Federation it has become possible.
Direction makes everything possible to allow for Jewish children to take rest in these camps.
