Education
The Chernihiv Or Avner Chabad Lubavitch educational complex was opened in September 2000. Only halachic Jews are trained and brought up in it. Founder of the complex is the ex-rabbi of the city and region Yakov Muzykant, Director of the Complex is Tatiana Bochkareva.
In the complex children have the opportunity to receive free secondary education. We have an atmosphere of warmth, kindness and respect for the personality of each child. The founder of the complex, administration and staff do everything to make the complex more like home for children.
The children are delivered to the complex and back home by bus.
It is already a good tradition to organize Jewish national holidays for the residents of the city and region: Purim, Hanukkah, Lag ba Omer. Children, guests, artists, regional Drama theatre – all take part in the holidays.
The holidays provide the students of the complex the opportunity to have free rest in health camps of Ukraine.
After graduation our students receive a state high school certificate.
Graduates continue their study in state universities of Ukraine and have an opportunity to get a free higher education in the Jewish higher education establishments of Ukraine, Russia, Israel and America.
In the kindergarten are all the conditions for the development of children. Kosher food, play, singing, dancing, preparation for school. Different sections work for the comprehensive development of kids: dancing, sports, English learning. From an early age children learn Jewish holidays and customs and get first impressions about the ancestral language of Hebrew. And most importantly - the children are the center of attention, care and warmth of caregivers and staff.
