Rabbi of Makeyevka Eliyahu Kramer
Rabi Eliyahu Kramer was born and raised in New York, USA. He studied in establishments of Aliyey Torah. Then he was a rabbi in Sydney, Australia and after that he continued his education in the 770 yeshiva.
After marriage he lived in Jerusalem, Israel and studied in the Zemach Zadik kolel.
In 2002 he moved to Melitopol, Ukraine and was the rabbi of the Jewish community of the city for three years. Due to paucity of the Jewish community and after counsil of rabbis he moved to Mekeyevka, Ukraine and began his work there.
Since that time the community centre was opened, there are different lessons, prayers, kiddush and talks.
During holidays different events are organised in cafes and restaurants with kosher meals and Jewish programs.
