In honor of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day the center "Menorah" will be the opening a photo exhibition by Luigi Toscano "Against Forgetting". The organizers are the museum "Memory of the Jewish people and the Holocaust in Ukraine," Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies "Tkumah" with the support of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany.
"Against Forgetting" - is a unique collection of stories of human destiny. During the year, a photographer and film director Luigi Toscano met with victims of National Socialism and former prisoners of concentration camps in Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Israel and the USA, allowing almost the last time to tell their personal, tragic life stories. The result of these meetings was the creation of 200 portraits of people and video interviews with them.
In September 2015 the photo installation "Against Forgetting" was first introduced in the Old fire house in Manngayme (Germany); now the inhabitants of the Dnieper willalso beable to see it.
