Students who are currently in the Holy Land, together with the students of the Beit Lubavitch Yeshiva in Safed, went on a special trip to the sacred places and graves of the righteous, this time to Galilee.
On the first round of the tour boys visited the graves of the sages, the founders of the Talmud - Rabbi Abai, the head of the yeshiva in Pumbedita; Rabbi Abba Khilkiy, a tannaist sage, and his grandfather Khoni Ha-Meagel, a teacher of the law and a famous wonderworker.
Next stop was Biriya Forest - the largest planted forest in the Galilee, where they found a variety of interesting and fascinating sites - an ancient Nevorai synagogue, tombs of the righteous, diverse flora, forests, groves, springs, and, of course, a mikvah. The journey ended up with an outdoor Hasidic farbrengen.
