The Shavuot celebration for the refugees of the KEDEM community was held in Israel. Shavuot is the best time to go outside, to enjoy the lovely weather and participate in fun activities for the whole family, everybody had a great time, meeting with Rabbi Pinchas and Rebbetsen Dina Vyshedsky.
On 5 of June, 2022 (Sivan 6, 5782), Jewish community of Kamianske gathered together at the Beit Baruch charity center and the Beit Reuven synagogue to celebrate the holiday of giving the Jewish people the Torah.
The Nikolaev Society of Jewish Culture held an online Shavuot holiday history lesson. Participants discussed Names of the Holiday that point out different aspects of this festival (the Celebration of the Weeks, the Harvest Festival, the Day of the First Fruits, the time of the giving of Torah).
Participants of the Zaporozhye Charitable Foundation "Hesed Michael" held an online meeting.
The members of the community were convinced that the distance for a large Jewish family means nothing and it is possible and necessary to celebrate Shavuot in a large friendly company, no matter in which country each member of the community is.
Everyone who attended the festive meeting received a huge dose of positive emotions and congratulations from the guests, witnessed the online cooking of traditional Shavuot dessert, took part in the “traditional dishes on Shavuot” challenge and enjoyed the performance of the theater studio "Inspiration".
Members of the Jewish community of Chernihiv discussed history of a holiday at an online lesson with participants of the teenage club "Boker"(AJT Boker Junior program).
The Jewish community of Gadyach headed by Rabbi Daich Shneur, prepared 260 food packages for the holiday of Shauvot. Packages were delivered to Jewish families throughout Ukraine.
Members of the Kryvyi Rih Jewish community celebrated Shavuot by attending creative workshops, holiday history classes and preparing traditional dairy dishes.
