The Jewish community of Chernivtsi celebrated Lag B'Omer at the Solcenania Dolina Recreation Center, where they held a bright festive program, which included: the traditional Lag B'Omer parade, kosher delicacies and BBQ, archery, a Jewish bonfire and a "Jewish soul" orchestra. Members of the Jewish community spent this day with great joy together with Jewish families who have been forcibly displaced from Kiev, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Kramtorsk, Chernigov, Kherson, Berdychiv and other Ukrainian cities.
The Lag B'Omer celebration was held in the Chabad Kherson community at the Jewish school.
The Jewish community of Odessa this year geographically expanded the boundaries of the Lag B'Omer celebration. Apart from the traditional fire and feast in Odessa, part of the Jewish community, now located in Berlin, could also celebrate the holiday according to all traditions.
The evening was opened by the Deputy Rabbi of Odessa and Southern Ukraine, Rabbi Fischel Chichelnitzky.
Children took part at festive program, parents and young people could dive into the atmosphere of a real show: there were all kinds of intellectual, musical and comedic contests.
On the eve of Lag B'Omer, a festive farbergen was held in Beit Baruch Chesed Center and in Beit Reuven Synagogue in the city of Kamyanske.
On 19 of May participants of "Hesed Shaarei Zion"Charitable Foundation in Balta got together in the online club "Yakhad". The theme of the meeting was devoted to the holiday of Lag B'Omer.
Members of the teenage club "Boker" in Chernihiv and the AJT Boker Junior program, who are now in different cities and countries, could not get together offline, but their online meeting dedicated to Lag B'Omer was full of sincere smiles and feeling of unity despite all the obstacles.
Participants of the "University Without Borders" project in Nikolaev also gathered online to celebrate Lag B'Omer and recall the deep historical roots of the holiday, discuss its forms of celebration and traditions.
The Jewish youth organization STL celebrated Lag B'Omer with wonderful sea voyage. A wonderful farbrengen with Dov Ber Baitman took place, Arye Nizevych gave an incredible entertainment program.
Each child got sweet presents and took part in creative workshops.
