The Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine is an all-Ukrainian Jewish charitable organization, established at the Conference of Jewish Religious Communities and Organizations of Ukraine.

Immediately upon its foundation, the Federation launched the creation of regional associations as structural units of the Federation for interaction between the central office of the Federation and local communities. Regional units began their work as part of 5 to 6 local communities. Today, the Federation unites more than 163 communities in the cities where the Jewish population constitutes more than 500,000 people.

The Federation is set to develop and implement humanitarian projects and charitable programs to support the Jewish population, restore Jewish traditions and culture of the Jewish people.

The external relations of the Federation are vast and extensive; it works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Israel, the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine, as well as with the largest Jewish organizations in all countries of the world.
