In Chernivtsi a great Jewish summer camp was organized during the school holidays! It was held for three weeks with the slogan "We unite the world!". Every day children traveled virtually to different countries of the world, learned a lot not only about the countrues visited, but also about the Jewish communities living there, and learned the basics of the commandments of G-d with the help of children.
If you thought that the trip was only virtual, you were wrong. The children visited the ropeway with obstacles, Carpathian Mountains, tourist complexes Tsetseno, Sun Valley, Water plus and many other interesting places. Camp participants had kosher meals, but of course they will remembered lunch outdoors with barbecue, baked potatoes and smoke from the fire most of all.
Leaving was not easy because the children became very good friends. The organizers of the summer camp, the Center for Jewish Life in Bukovina and the Jewish children's training center Or Avner Chabad, assured the children and parents that this break will not be long but only for the duration of studying seasson.
