Nochum Erentroy
Chief Rabbi of the Zaporozhye region
Rabbi Nochum Erentroy was born on April 22, 1970 in Jerusalem, Israel.
1985 - Completes his studies at a Jewish school in Jerusalem.
1986 - 1987 Enters Mesivta (Jewish high school for boys) in Montreal, Canada.
1988 - 1989 Enters the Talmudic seminar in Moristown, USA.
1990 Continues his studies at Yeshiva ‘Ocean Parkway”, New York, USA.
1991 - 1994 Enrolled in the superior Yeshiva "Tomhei Tmimim Lubavitch 770" Brooklyn, NY, USA. Receives a rabbi diploma.
1994 – 1995 Worked as Rabbi in Minsk, Belarus.
1995 – 1996 Founded the first Jewish Institute of “Beit Khana” in Dnipro, Ukraine.
1997 - Appointed as the Chief Rabbi of the Zaporozhye region, and the head of the Zaporizhzhya Jewish Community
