Rabbi Meir Stambler
Born on June 15, 1972 in the USA.
In 1981 he moved to Israel with his family. In 1989 he graduated from a yeshiva in Jerusalem, Israel.
He studied for two years at the Higher Yeshiva, London, UK, then continued his higher education in Montreal.
In the mid-1990s he came to Ukraine as an envoy of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Together with Rabbi Kaminetsky, he built and developed the Dnieper community.
He stood at the origins of higher Jewish education in Ukraine. In 1995, he became one of the founders of the Beit Hana Pedagogical College. At the moment, this is the International Pedagogical Institute of Beit Hana, whose president r. Stambler is up to this date.
In 1999, together with other rabbis, he created the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine. He headed the Federation Council and is the chairman of the Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine.
The Federation of Jewish Communities is the most influential Jewish organization in Ukraine - it unites all the rabbis of Ukraine.
Member of the Board of Trustees of the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish Community.
Married to Sara Stambler, born in Israel.
