One may think that after the last school bell rang for the last time the children would say buy to their school and forget it till September. But the students of the Nikolayev Ohr Menachem School did not hurry to do so. The school is so comfortable and pleasing to them that they were waiting for the school summer camp.
During the first summer month the Jewish children had active rest, strengthened their health, developed themselves, studied Jewish traditions, communicated. The camp traditionally combined excellent traditional Jewish traits and of course all awaited for something new. And they got it.
A good tradition is to gather around the camp fire together with the children, mentors and parents. The children presented what they learned during the camp time and received awards. Everyone got a photo and a treat.
The video diary of the Camp 2011 brought plenty of emotions to everyone. Such video diaries are the good tradition of the camp.
The fire is already burning brightly and that means the Camp is over. Children, mentors and parents are around the fire. As usual a torch of Friendship is lighted from the fire. The torch is given from hands to hands and all said good wishes and words of gratitude toward the founder of the School Sholom Gottlieb, the Director of the National subjects Dina Gottlieb, the Director of the School M. Kislovskaya, the heads of the Camp Y. Kalugina and H. Gula, the teacher and organizer T. Dashevskaya. Children and their parents thanked the teachers (mentors of the groups) N. Drach, M. Surzhikova, Y. Koneva, I. Kirilovskaya, T. Sabengus, S. Kucher, G. Semenenko, Y. Sednyova and the School and camp nurse T. Pavlenko and all workers of the School who organized this perfect Camp.
