Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk Shmuel Kaminezki


The chief rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk Shmuel Kaminezski was born in Kfar Chabad, Israel in 1965. In 1946 his parents moved to Kfar Chabad because of religious persecution. Till 13 years he studied in heder in Kfar Chabad. Since 13 till 16 years he staudied in yeshiva of the Lod city.

In 1981 he came to he USA to learn from the Lyubavitch Rebe. He gratuated from the Rabbinical College of America in Morris Town, New Jersey.

Continued studying and tought in the yeshiva for the Rebe shluchim in New Heaven, Connecticut.

Then he tought in the Rabbinical College of America. In 1988 he received smikha in the Eastern Parkway 770 Yeshiva. 

In 1989 he married Chana Lipsker.

In 1990 the Lyubavitch Rebe sent Shmuel and Chana to the Jewish community of Dnepropetrovsk

Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki was elected the chief rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk and the Dnepropetrovsk region, the Chairman of the Board of Dnepropetrovsk Jewish community. Rabbi Shmuel and Chana have 5 daughters and 3 sons.
